ANNAIR water -cooled after coolers use water (either from cooling tower, water tank or water chiller) to cool the hot compressed air.ANNAIR uses Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger/After cooler for best results. This after cooler consists of a shell with a bundle of tubes fitted inside. Typically the compressed air flows through the tubes in one direction as water flows through the shell side in the opposite direction (counter-flow).The advantages of using water as the cooling media is there little seasonal fluctuation in temperature and can supply quite a cold water, thus reduces the temperature of compressed air to a great extent The condensate liquid can be removed by the moisture separator and drain valve.
